Book a shoot

Video production.

Your shoot, in motion.

Short vertical clips for Instagram, shot in the same session as your photos, so one booking gives you both. I shoot and edit everything myself, and most clients add video to a photo shoot to give their social media something that moves.

Frequently asked questions

How much does video production cost?

£95 an hour for shooting and £95 an hour for editing. A typical set of social clips takes about two hours of each.

Where does the music in the clips come from?

From a music library, chosen to suit each clip. Musicians’ clips can use sound recorded live on the day.

Can you film on location as well as in the studio?

Yes. I shoot video at Studio A and on location anywhere in London, and bring the lights and sound kit with me.

What if I want changes to the edit?

One round of changes is included. Further changes are charged by the hour, at the same rate as editing.

More about

Video production

Short product videos for Instagram Reels

A short product video shows what a still can’t: how a bag swings, how a ring catches the light as a hand turns, how a jacket moves when someone walks. Most of the clips I make are for small fashion, bag and jewellery brands who want their feed to move as well as their product pages to look sharp.

I keep each clip to one idea. A slow turn of a necklace, a model picking up a bag and walking out of frame, a close-up of stitching or a clasp. Ten to thirty seconds is enough to show the product and short enough that people watch to the end.

Photos and video in one shoot

Booking photos and video together saves you a second day of setting up, styling and travelling. We agree in advance which looks need video, then I shoot the stills first and film the clips straight after, with the same lights, backdrop and styling, so everything sits together on your grid.

Because I shoot both myself, there is no handover between a photographer and a videographer, and no second crew to brief. It also means the pictures and the clips are planned as one set rather than two separate jobs.

Short clips for musicians

Musicians use short vertical clips to announce a single, tease a release or keep a profile active between records. I film performance snippets, close-ups and moody portrait clips at Studio A in Kentish Town or on location around London, often in the same session as press photos.

I record sound on the day when a clip needs it, such as a spoken intro or a few bars played live in the studio.

Planning a vertical video shoot

Vertical video is framed for a phone held upright, so I compose for a tall screen from the start rather than cropping a wide shot afterwards. That keeps faces and products in the safe middle of the frame, clear of the captions and buttons that Instagram lays over the top.

Before the day, send me two or three Reels you like and tell me where the clips will be posted. Behind-the-scenes footage of the shoot itself is easy to add, and it gives you something to post while the finished edits are being made.
