Smart Braid.

Smart Braid is a UK hair brand that makes and distributes synthetic hair extensions, crochet styles, weaves and fashion wigs to over 700 shops and beauty stores across the UK and Europe. It wanted one team to handle all of its visuals, from product photos and campaigns to social media and the website.

Hair is one of the hardest things to photograph well. Textures, ombré colours and fine styling details all need to show clearly, for an Afro-Caribbean and global audience.

We plan each campaign with the brand, find the studios and locations, cast the models, and bring in specialist hair and make-up artists.

We shoot the lookbooks, packaging and catalogue photos for the braids, crochet styles and human-hair weaves, lit carefully so every texture and colour shows.

We direct, shoot and edit longer video campaigns for Smart Braid’s YouTube channel.

For social media, we create behind-the-scenes photos, Reels, TikTok videos and graphics, and work with influencers to keep a steady flow of content showing people wearing the products.

We also look after the images and product pages on the Smart Braid website.
