Frequently asked questions

What should I wear for a personal branding shoot?

What you’d wear for work on a good day, plus two or three changes in colours that suit your brand. Plain fabrics photograph better than busy patterns or large logos.

Can we shoot somewhere other than the studio?

Yes, anywhere in London. I bring the lights, and the rate is the same hourly rate plus travel. I can also suggest places that photograph well.

How much does a personal branding shoot cost?

£95 an hour, with every image included. Retouching is also £95 an hour.

How quickly will I get the photos?

Unretouched images the same day by WeTransfer, and retouched ones within three working days.

More about

Personal Branding & Instagram Photography

Personal branding photography for founders and creators

Personal branding photos are pictures of you that do a job for your business: the profile picture, the website banner, the posts that show what you do and how you work. I shoot them for founders, creators and people who run their own business and need a set that lasts for months.

Before the shoot, think about where each picture will sit. A website header needs empty space beside you for text. A feed needs variety. A speaker bio needs one strong, simple portrait. Planning around those uses is what turns a pleasant hour into pictures you actually post.

Instagram photoshoots in the studio or out in London

The studio gives you controlled light and ten backdrop colours, so you can match a brand palette or change the feel between outfits. Out on location I can meet you somewhere that means something to your work, or suggest spots around London that photograph well.

You can mix the two: polished portraits under studio light, then relaxed, everyday shots on the street or in a café that sit naturally in a feed.

Bring the things that show your work: a laptop, your tools, your product, a notebook. Pictures of you doing the job, not just standing in front of the camera, are the ones people stop on and remember.

Photos and short videos in one session

I can film vertical video in the same session, short clips of 10 to 30 seconds for Reels and stories. The stills and the video then come from the same day, the same light and the same look, so your feed holds together.

For a consistent grid, keep to a few outfits in your brand colours and stick to one or two settings. I frame loosely enough that each picture can be cropped for a post, a story or a banner without losing your head or hands.
